For a general question

- Email: info@silvermere.example
- In person: 100 Lakeshore Avenue, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding statutory holidays).
If you already know what you need
These are the direct lines residents use most. Going straight to them usually saves a hand-off:
- Pothole, snow, water main, or any road or utility issue: Civic Works, 250-555-0140 or civicworks@silvermere.example. Use the Request Hub for non-urgent reports.
- Building permit, business licence, or zoning question: Development Services, 250-555-0100 or devserv@silvermere.example.
- Property tax, utility bill, or finance question: Financial Services, 250-555-0100 or finance@silvermere.example.
- Council meeting, agenda, or delegation request: Legislative Services, 250-555-0100 or htran@silvermere.example.
- Bylaw concern (parking, animals, noise): use the bylaw violation report or call City Hall.
- Site issue (something broken on this website): use Site Feedback.
The full department directory and the staff directory list every contact in one place if your question doesn’t fit any of the above.

What to expect after you reach out
City Hall aims to respond to non-urgent inquiries within two business days. Some questions get answered the same day. Some take longer when they need a specific staff member or a Council decision; if that’s the case, you’ll usually get an acknowledgement first so you know the message landed.
For water, sewer, or road emergencies after hours, call Civic Works at 250-555-0140. For any life-safety emergency, call 9-1-1.
